ACOR wins prestigious Australasian Concrete Repair and Remedial Building Association award for Excellence in Investigation and Diagnosis. The award was presented for the 1-3 Eton Road, Lindfield project for remedial building, strengthening and waterproofing works.
The residential building contains 88 apartments, with construction completed in 2009 by a well-known Tier 2 Builder using a tilt-up panel system with steel shelf angles supporting pre-cast slabs. Upon occupation of the building, the residents experienced significant water ingress resulting in severe corrosion of the shelf angles.
After being appointed and completing the investigation and design stages, ACOR was commissioned to Superintend/Project Manage the rectification and overall, delivered a cost saving to the Owners Corporation of $3.6M compared to solutions specified by previous consultants.
Congratulations to Jason Li and Sam Parker who led this successful project along with the rest of the team.
