Position: Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team in Brisbane. This position exists to support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level. The successful applicant will require Engineering and Project Management skills to obtain, secure, manage and deliver successful projects for the company.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects that include design, specification and reporting in coordination with company and client procedures
  • Providing technical direction, oversight and management of both engineering and design projects
  • Conducting site based inspections, engineering and commission services to internal and external projects
  • Providing engineering assessment, design and documentation of a high level within time, cost and quality expectations
  • Demonstrating sound judgement and technically accurate and feasible engineering and consultation solutions with minimal review
  • Providing original contribution or applying new professional engineering approaches and techniques to the design or development of projects and solutions
  • Consulting, recommending and advising in speciality engineering areas


Skills & Experience:

  • University Degree or equivalent (An engineering degree would be advantageous but not a prerequisite)
  • Minimum 7-10 years previous design and/or project management experience within an engineering consultancy or associated industry
  • Experience within civil/structural/construction/building industry
  • A strong working knowledge with a range of design software packages
  • Strong design and/or project management skills
