Due to continued growth, our Newcastle office is looking for a Trainee Draftsperson to kick-start their career within the team. This is an exceptional opportunity to begin your career within a medium-sized engineering consulting company.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for learning and performing all aspects of drafting in an apprentice capacity. You will be required to deliver a wide range of design projects, ranging from alterations and additions to houses, through to large-scale land development projects in the mining, commercial, industrial and government sectors.

Skills & Experience

• Willing to enrol in a relevant Engineering TAFE course or been enrolled in a relevant course for the last 12 months
• Committed and willing to learn
• Hard working, proactive and an ability to work autonomously within a busy environment and as part of a team
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Good attention to detail
