“I love the feeling when you get a new project, the rush of excitement when you receive the client brief and realise this is going to be a good one.”

I find it inspiring working on exciting projects with fun, like-minded people as part of a successful civil team. To be able to work together using engineering principals to solve complex problems which don’t fit typical solutions – is an interesting and challenging part of my job.

Also as a mother it has been very valuable for me to find a firm which supports and understands the intricacies around finding the right balance and formula for success in the field of engineering.

While outside of work spare time continues to elude me – I am happy to make to time for family and friends – any distraction from the household duties is welcomed! Winters have an alpine focus, with family time on the slopes being always something we look forward to.
