Mechanical Engineering affords the flexibility to tailor sustainable building performance solutions that are bespoke to each project.

It is a rewarding feeling to hand over a project and go beyond the ambitions set out in the initial brief. Highlights to date include the first zero-emission, all-electric PCA Grade commercial office building in Canberra and the first aquatic centre in Australia that utilises a full electric solution with total heat recovery across the building (Mt Gambier, VIC).

For fun I enjoy snowboarding, wakeboarding and hiking holidays, exploring new terrains around the world.  At home I am quite practical, so I enjoy learning renovation skills such as carpentry, tiling and plastering.

Ryan experience covers multiple sectors including commercial, health, education, sports and recreation, hospitality, residential and industrial.  As lead Mechanical engineer he oversees the planning, design, documentation and construction supervision of Building and ESD services.

Utilising building simulation modelling, Ryan works with clients to optimise the best solution in regards to energy use, indoor thermal comfort, lighting and ventilation and assists teams to develop high-performance mechanical solutions for an extensive range of facilities.

Ryan’s multi-disciplinary capability often helps to align functional aspects such as glazing, building fabric, shading, and sealing quite early on, adding value by offering greater certainty to design specification and constructability.
