“Life is too short to not enjoy your job, so do what makes you happy.”

I am very proud to be a part of a company that supports female engineers in a very male dominated industry, and provides flexibility to balance my career and motherhood.  I love the opportunities I get, such as being the design manager for a very large multi-discipline project and to have had the opportunity to work with another ACOR office to produce design and project documentation that our client was extremely happy with.

Client satisfaction is very important to me. If the client is happy with us, they will come back to us – and of course it is so rewarding seeing a project develop from design to construction.

My personal drivers are my husband and three daughters. I enjoy showing my daughters that they can do and be anything that they set their mind to and provide an example to them of how I set goals and achieve them in my professional and personal life.

Having three daughters, netball is a big thing in our household – playing, coaching and umpiring.  I’m also a part of the committee that looks after the netball club. In any spare time we can be found taking family holidays, usually in Tuncurry.
