Blake Wilson

Associate Principal and General Manager, Southbank

In recent years, my role has evolved to focus firmly on our people. This includes providing a supportive career platform for our staff whilst developing successful relationships with our clients.

People often ask me what we specialise in but we aren’t narrowed to a specific discipline or sector.  The most important thing is to provide a great service and be willing to go that extra mile to help our clients overcome the unique technical challenges of each project.

I enjoy trying to give something back, sharing lessons from my own mentoring with junior members of the team. Success for me is being able to support career growth, creating an environment where our people are learning new things whilst enjoying their work. This is all underpinned by our culture and commitment to a quality product.

Blake is the General Manager of the Melbourne Southbank Office and a key member of the VIC Leadership team. He is responsible for operations, business development, marketing and coordination of staff and design teams.

Blake is a knowledgeable building services designer with expertise in electrical design, communications, and fire protection services across a range of sectors including with new building design, office fitout design work, street lighting and road lighting design. He also brings a flair for lighting design and the application of 3D modelling in AGI.
