Angus Mitchell new Chairman of ACOR

Angus Mitchell has been appointed as the new Chairman of ACOR and has articulated his clear vision for ACOR’s future growth and direction.

“I strongly believe in the benefits of a having a centralised and integrated employee-owned organisation. I have seen that having staff with a vested interest in the success of a company creates a greater level of co-ordination of knowledge and resources, which in turns leads to better outcomes for the business and their clients.” Angus Mitchell.

Angus is experienced in working in large, leading professional services organisations and on complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, both locally and internationally. He firmly believes that the key to attracting the best staff and delivering the service excellence required to be a successful company, lies with creating a strong sense of ownership within the staff.

Since 2016 Angus has been working with ACOR to better understand and optimise the challenges we face, firstly as Business Development mentor and in 2018 as a Non- Executive Board Director. As Chairman, we are confident he is well equipped to prepare ACOR for the next stage of growth and development.

Outgoing chairman, Tim Kaiser, said in his thank you speech when he stepped down at this year’s AGM “Angus is the right person to guide ACOR through this next phase of ACOR’s Growth”. Tim, who first partnered with ACOR in 2007 as a Business Consultant, has been instrumental in working with ACOR to effect organisational change and growth and we are grateful for Tim’s continued contribution as he assumes the role of Non-Executive Director of the ACOR Board.
