“Aside from the existential pleasure of completing a project, what I enjoy most is the gratification of playing a small part in the complex jigsaw puzzle that culminates in a structure coming to life”.
Nick believes successful solutions come not only from an innovative approach, but by pushing the boundaries of materials and methods and the willingness to play with ideas and processes along the way.
He welcomes finding solutions to complicated problems and believes he finds inspiration for his work from all areas of his life – even when he’s bushwalking, riding motorbikes, practicing karate or on the soccer pitch.
An integral part of ACOR, Nick is a founding Principal, a Board member and Advisory Executive.
With a Master of Engineering Science and over 30 years’ experience, Nick is a specialist in the design of pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete structures, as well as the design of tilt-up panel construction. He also specialises in diagnostic engineering, the rehabilitation of structures and forensic investigations – where his skills are in demand for litigation support for strata managers, building consultants and lawyers.
His ability to coordinate multi-discipline projects and teams, his innovative approach and his unflappable nature, are skills that make him a successful leader for our national business.
