Marina is the Sustainability Leader for Delivery at ACOR and has been a part of our Team since early 2016.

Marina has Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), Industrial and Computing (Distinction) from Monash University and has worked in the manufacturing industry in a number of technical, QA and managerial roles, both in Australia and overseas.

In 2009, Marina shifted her career towards Sustainability, applying her engineering skills and technical expertise to providing building modelling, energy efficiency compliance reporting and sustainability assessments for commercial and residential buildings. During this period, Marina also completed a Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessment and is currently a Green Star Accredited Professional and NABERS Assessor.

Marina joined Rudds in 2016 as Senior ESD Engineer which was their first dedicated resource in the Building Services area of Sustainability. When Rudds merged with ACOR in 2020 she became the ESD Team Leader. By focusing on building delivery of substantiality solutions and outcomes for clients, Marina has been able to grow the Sustainability team each year with the support of ACOR. Teamwork and collaboration are important to ACOR and Marina enjoys working closely with her team as well as with the wider ACOR group.

ACOR has also provided Marina with opportunities to further develop and extend her knowledge and expertise within the field of Sustainability, particularly in Green Star and Net Zero. ACOR’s national focus gives Marina the opportunity to work on different projects in a range of sectors, allowing her to have an impact on sustainability outcomes nationwide.

Marina is proud that she has never stopped learning throughout her career and enjoys the challenge that comes with growth. In her spare time, Marina particularly enjoys time with her family including her fur babies, two rescue Beagles and a Burmese cat, as well as cooking up a new recipe or reading a good book.

When she’s not delivering Sustainability for ACOR, you can find Marina taking a long stroll on the beach.
