Builders are making progress on the new Observatory for the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum in Winton Queensland.

ACOR’s Jarrod Novosel has been assisting the AAOD with the implementation of the masterplan since 2012, including Structural design on the suspended walkway that provides access to the top of the mesa, known locally as ‘The Jump Up.’

Set atop The Jump Up the new Observatory is located within the dark-sky preserve, the first International Dark-Sky Sanctuary in Australia.  As part of the scope, ACOR has undertaken design on the ground slab, structural columns, and wall framing.   The new facility is anticipated to open in Autumn 2020.
